Visual Identity, Photography (2025)
A brand identity and photography project for a family-run tea farm in Pinglin, Taiwan, shaped by three generations of craftsmanship.
Centered on calligraphy written by the tea farmer, the identity preserves the rhythm and nuance of his handwriting as a core visual element. This foundation is extended into a restrained and contemporary system, balancing expressive gestures with quiet structure.
The color system is derived from the oxidation stages of tea leaves, translating the gradual transformation of tea into subtle tonal variations across the visual language.
The photography moves between close-up details and moments from the tea-making process—capturing textures, gestures, and subtle transformations through soft light and minimal composition. The images reflect both the material qualities of tea and the rhythm of its production.
The result is a cohesive visual language that connects heritage with a calm, contemporary expression.
